At CAES, we also had research interest groups. The group I joined was Language education in China. Three group members agreed to review research on English language education in China published in 24 international journals. Through this project, I developed my library research skills and literature review skills. Being the deputy coordinator of the project, I also enhanced my coordination skills, coordinating relationships among members and resources in an individualized approach based on specific needs (Wenger, McDermott & Synder, 2002).
At the centre, PhD students also help each other. Please allow me to cite some words from the acknowledgements in the dissertations of two recent PhD graduates.
